A deep clean is for a house that needs more than its usual upkeep: it has been a while since a real clean, you are starting a new recurring schedule and want a clean baseline, or you just want everything done once, properly. It takes longer than a regular visit because I get into spots a standard clean doesn’t have time for.
What a Deep Clean Covers
- Baseboards and window tracks
- Inside the fridge and oven
- Behind and under furniture
- Light fixtures, ceiling fans, and cabinet fronts
- Grout, soap scum, and hard water buildup in bathrooms
- Everything included in a regular cleaning visit, done more thoroughly
When to Book One
- It has been more than a few months since the last real clean, or ever
- You are starting a recurring schedule and want a clean baseline to maintain from
- You are hosting a big event or expecting guests for an extended stay
- A seasonal reset, usually spring or before the holidays
Moving in or out instead? That is its own service with its own checklist. See move-in and move-out cleaning. For the full breakdown of how a deep clean differs from a standard clean and how pricing works, read Deep Clean vs. Standard Clean on the blog.
